Public Laundry Room

Ok, so here is something that goes on at my apartment complex.  Each group of buildings has one laundry room.  Our group of three buildings has one laundry room with 3 washers, and 3 dryers.  From time to time, someone will use all three washing machines, leaving none for others that may want to do their laundry.

When I do my laundry, I usually stick to using just one washer and dryer.  I will typically have one load in the wash when one drys, and switch them when the dryer is done.  Seems like a fair idea to me - if we were living in a house, we would only have one washer and dryer.  These also leaves two washers and dryers for other residents to use.

Well, today someone decided to be rude.  I had a load in the dryer, and one in the washer.  When I came down to switch my laundry, someone had put my clean, wet clothes from the washer into the laundry basket I had left in the room.  All three washers were now in use!  Does this person think that I do not plan on drying those clothes?  I think I will check on my laundry in a little bit, to make sure that my clothes are still in the dryer!

These are pictures from the Union Wadding Lofts. We are looking at purchasing a two bedroom unit, and it looks amazing! Large windows, huge open living area, good size bedrooms, nice kitchen with brand new appliances (not pictured) - this will be an excellent place to live!

iPod - Woohoo!

We picked up an iPod mini the other day (Thursday to be exact). It is really cool! I did not realize how much I would like this. I have been able to copy all the MP3s that I have, with room to spare! Guess that means I can rip more of my CDs to MP3s. :-)

Blogging? What is that anyway?

Ok, I'll admit - I am new to blogging. Very new. In fact, this is my first blog ever. It's not that I have not heard of this word or idea before, I just have never taken the time to see what it is about. It's funny, because statistically I am in the age group that is fluent in this sort of thing. Well, better late than never, that's what I was always told.

The hard part about starting my first blog post is that I don't even have a topic for discussion. It's not that I don't have any ideas floating around in my head or anything, I'm just not sure what people would actually like to read.

Well, maybe I will just end the post here for now. I will probably figure out what to do with this blog sometime in the future. Will it be for new articles? Some kind of Diary? A discussion of ideas? Who knows!
